Canadian Cinema Editors Board of Directors

I recently attended by final board meeting with the Canadian Cinema Editors and wanted to say a few important words after my two year term. In reflection, when you join a volunteer board of directors for the first time, you really don’t know what to anticipate. I can’t brag enough about the AMAZING group of people I had the privilege to work with. Editors across Canada who inspired me to be passionate, creative, and organized. When you mesh a group of passionate and caring people together, the results are pretty amazing. I can’t help but look back and be very proud of the work this amazing group of people accomplished together

Looking Forward

I am very confident in the new board that was elected to carry forward the work and take the organization to the next level. All the best and thinking of you.

THE LONG WEEKEND (2022) - Webisodes

I was fortunate to work with the production team to produce three short webisodes for TVO about the feature length film, THE LONG WEEKEND (2022). Edited by Carole Larsen and directed by Katie Lamer, these three companion pieces provide further information about Algonquin’s past, present and future.

Ontario's Algonquin Provincial Park is one of Canada's oldest and most storied provincial parks and Labour Day weekend is one of the busiest times of the year. Amidst pandemic lockdowns and restrictions, first-time campers are flocking to Algonquin Park along with seasoned veterans, to experience its rugged beauty and natural wildlife.
